CMA Triple Target Challenge

Here’s our new challenge for March, you only need 5 metres to shoot this one!

Using the template file, print 3 targets and label them 1-3. Or you can draw your own on A4 paper: the gold circle is 5cm in diameter, the red 12cm and the blue 19cm.

Arrange as shown on your target face – with the corners of each A4 sheet touching.

Each end will consist of shooting 6 arrows – you must shoot one arrow per target in the order 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3. Any shots that go into the wrong target do not count!

Time limit per end = 25s

There will be 4 ends as follows:

  • Side shots using a quiver
  • Side shots with arrows in your hand
  • Front shots (your choice of quiver or hand)
  • Back shots (your choice of quiver or hand)

For each arrow scores as per usual colours: gold = 5, red = 4, blue = 3 (there is no score or penalty for missing the circular target faces)

Time bonus for every 1s (or part thereof) under 25s, time penalty for every 1s (or part thereof) over 25s.

Shooting line to be 5 metres from the target to allow shooting safely in small area.

Please only shoot the match once, not over and over until you get a score you like!

A scoresheet can be found here. Send your entries to cma@bhaa.org.uk or via our Facebook page before midnight on March 31st

** Please make sure you have somewhere safe to shoot before attempting the challenge and follow current government Covid 19 rules **
